Teaching Reading: Changing Lives

Learning to read at age 14, has made me into a very effective Reading Therapist.  I am more than just a reading tutor.  I overcome reading problems and help children who struggling both with reading, and the emotional issues which arise, because they have fallen behind.

Maybe one of these children will be yours?

I have successfully taught hundreds of children to read, over the last 24 years.  My early life and my Psychotherapy training has given me a sympathetic understanding of children as children, and an idea of what is actually going on in their minds, as they are learning.  I also understand from first-hand experience, how it feels to go through school as a struggling reader.

My blog posts offer an insight into the Theory and practice of reading.  I hope they will help you to help your child.  Maybe the Case Studies will reassure you.
